a video adoption update

On Thursday afternoon our friend Jeff stopped by for a quick visit to meet Eliot. Jeff lives in Ecuador, so this was his first chance to meet the new Swanson. Yesterday, after exploring the DuSable Museum of African American History, we drove out to the lake where the rest of these photos were taken.
After our picnic we shot this short video as a way to update our friends and family who’ve been so supportive through the adoption process.
Now we’re off to the Green City Market. We’re shopping for dinner; some friends are joining us for a quick meal and then babysitting while Maggie and I go to a play.

Hey! Thanks for the video. It’s really fun to see you 3 together and imagine what your life is like now. Sounds like some big decisions on the horizon (housing, job for Maggie). We’ll pray about that. So glad Eliot is a good sleeper and happy baby and a good traveler.
